Paper - Hahnemühle Pearl

Giclee Printing - Like your home inkjet printer, professional Giclée printers use the CMYK colour process, except that they feature a multiple ink cartridge, 8 channel printhead based on the CMYK colour model, adding light magenta, light cyan and 3 levels of black.

Giclee Lifespan - Giclée printers use a higher quality of fade-resistant, archival, pigment-based inks. When applied to high quality archival substrates, like, for example, the Hahnemühle cotton-based, acid free Rag papers the result is an unbeatable archival lifespan of up to 200 years.

Frame (Optional for selected prints) -Our frames are made in Germany from FSC®-certified wood. The wood comes from sustainably managed forests that meet the criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council. The Oak frames are solid wood from FSC®-certified sources with an Oak veneer.

Mount: When you purchase a framed print it comes professionally mounted using sustainably sourced mount board.

Glass (when framed) - The frame windows are made of edge-ground float glass with a UV filter of approx 45%. The frames are also equipped with an acid-free insert and a sturdy rear panel.

Direct Sunlight

For best longevity protect framed and dry mounted prints from direct sunlight. Try to avoid south facing windows and use ultraviolet (UV) filtering glass for framing valuable artwork that cannot be reproduced.

Humidity

We recommend that largely humid areas/environments be avoided. Deterioration of paper and materials is increased by humidity as well as the potential risk of damage from mould and pests.

Fluctuation in humidity levels also can create tension across the surface of the print, causing undulations and a ripple effect.

Damp

We recommend that you do not hang your framed work directly against the interior of the outside wall that is affected by damp as mould will likely build up inside the frame.

Cleaning

To clean a framed print simply wipe down with a dry lint free rag.

Damaged or Delayed

In the unlikely event the product arrives damaged, we will send a replacement free of charge. To arrange this please contact us at info@buyprinthang.com.

We only offer refunds if the product arrives damaged or is significantly delayed (postage delays which could be considered normal, or delays due to items being held up in customs will not be refunded). What constitutes a significant time delay is at our discretion. In either cases we may request return of the products so that we can dispose of them. The returns in these cases will be at our cost, and refunds can be withheld until the returns are received by us.
